We taped down the thermostat dial because it occasionally would change by itself, at least we thought so until we caught our cat Alya (Allie) playing with it. We don't know if she started playing with the thermostat after we taped it or if she was the reason since the beginning the heat would get dialed up on its own in the apartment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X4VfAQxx1Y

Tunisia’s cats are predominantly feral with a very small percentage adopted as indoor pets. Although Tunisian street cats live in close proximity to humans, they approach only when food is presented and shy away from being petted or handled. With their svelte frames and quick reflexes, these Mediterranean cats mislead the casual onlooker into believing that they are malnourished. Their thin bodies perhaps a nod to their elegant Egyptian ancestors, are likely a product of an active battle for survival in a hot climate.

Take the ChoroQ Qsteer Mini RC Racer, place it in a jar of catnip and let sit for a period. Select a trajectory that is sure to attract the attention of our feline friend as well as disperse the scent of the catnip. A peppermint tea bag may also be taped to the vehicle for added effect.

In the dark of the night, as a full moon hovers high in the sky, wide eyes dart to and fro and the legend of the witch's familiar is told once more. It is said that this most mysterious and secretive creature can see in the dark and, when stroked, its fur gives off sparks of blue, orange and silver fire! Be especially careful of the black cat, for it is bound to be a demon or evil spirit in a clever disguise. And no doubt, where there is a black cat, there is most probably a witch around, for the black cat is there as the companion, the advisor, to the sorceress. Old people, invalids and babies, beware! For while you are sleeping, the cat will soundlessly enter the room, crawl up onto your chest, and suck the breath from your body until you are lifeless! |
